About the Artwork

Alley of Shirotae Cherry(meaning white veil) trees were planted for the Japanese Canadian War Memorial Cenotaph in Stanley Park. The old alley of the large canopy creates the most elegant space among a few of this species existed in the Vancouver city area. Many admirers visit this part of the park every year in early April.
