About the Artwork
The piece uses acrylic paint, threadtextured papers and acrylic gels. It has marks which suggest walls of caves in the Southwest U.S., i.e.Utah. Essentially it is a kind of tribute to ancient peoples who worked the land and lived in cliffs. In that way it is an elegy. hence the title.
