About the Artwork

The medium of alcohol ink parallels so beautifully with the Rugged Charm of the North shore of Lake Superior. Just like the medium, this part of our incredible Canadian Landscape (like so many other parts) provides incredible beauty in its unpredictable, and natural wildness. When I look at this painting, I feel the wind, the spray, the power of the waves, and the security of the rock. It puts things in perspective and fills me with hope and an enthusiasm for life!

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

I believe that beauty is nourishing for all of us - physically, emotionally and spiritually.
This is why I create, and what I hope to convey in my art - life, hope, beauty and nourishment.

"Creating with alcohol inks have become a wonderful metaphor for life, for me - a reminder to continually embrace the unexpected, and to persevere until something of beauty emerges."
