About the Artwork
This painting is based on a photo taken by my good friend Ashton Faulkner in the Foothills east of Sundre,while looking for Wildies. Exactly one month after the photo, Keith Pettyjohn, 83, of Bowden, Ab. was thrown from his horse and did not survive the fall. This painting is dedicated to his memory.
