About the Artwork
On our visit to Venice I saw shop windows full of masks in preparation for the festival. When we returned to Canada, we went to visit our son and his wife in Cayman Island.
Lo and behold, there on the wall of our guest room hung two masks from Venice! You guessed it, I took pictures of them, and when we got back home I created a painting of a festival featuring these two masks!
