I live General Anxiety Disorder and am in a constant struggle to keep my anxiety under control and live a normal life. COVID-19 has been a nightmare for me in preserving my delicate balance of calm and serenity of mind. Although I am generally an introvert, the social and physical isolation I and my family have had to endure during this crisis has been stressful and difficult. Many, including myself feel trapped and barred from the things we love and the ones we love. However, in the darkest hour, the positive streaks of humanity have shone through through online support groups and social media campaigns. Gridlock 2020 is a reboot of a silkscreen i created as a teenager. I have recreated it to reflect my current reality.
