About the Artwork
An impromptu detour on the way home led me to a serene pond nestled beside an old wooden bridge. The varied and colourful marsh grasses were brilliant in the hot late afternoon sun against the cool water. It was a quiet mindful moment captured on canvas to return to over and over again.
