In late Autumn on in the Canadian Natural Grasslands region a Rough-legged Hawk sits perched on the remnants of an old Cottonwood tree, likely taking a rest from its southward migration from its summer breeding grounds in the arctic. Just as you look off into all that open space you realize a herd of Pronghorn have spotted you and are on the run into the distant fog.
