About the Artwork
Our local Hippocampus, the Cadborosaurus, leisurely floats in the waters off the Stanley Park seawall and Siwash Rock. She/he embodies the Hippocampus or sea creature physically, while employing the intellectual hippocampus by enjoying a bit of Margaret Atwood. The water and landscape both literally and figuratively represents a place that holds both memory and mystery.
