About the Artwork
This scene is of a young sheep herder gathering his sheep, near the small village of Vostane, Croatia. This village is home to my husband's family, whose roots can be traced back 300 years. I was drawn to photograph and paint the beautiful and tranquil pastoral lifestyle of the people.
