About the Artwork
This painting is about my memories of a boy from my childhood. This person is no longer in my life but with this painting I am wishing him peace and good things.
Birds, flowers and the balance of red and blue are all personal symbols of peace. The boy looking off into the distance is meant to symbolize nostalgia and thought.
