About the Artwork
This series portrays 12 and 13 year old girls just as they are leaving that state of girlish innocence and before a more conscious "knowing".
In this liminal state they are "betwixt and between", their moods are mercurial and unpredictable but it is magical to catch those moments as they waver between invincible and invisible.
