About the Artwork
This painting was inspired by watching a powerful live performance by DJ “Power House” Jones, an accomplished musician and entertainer who’s career spanned over 50 years. He was a People Polydor/Mercury recording artist who played with everyone under the sun and across every genre, but is most remembered for his work with James Brown, The Dynamic Insiders, The Platters and the Ink Spots.
