About the Artwork
Mystic Beach is located in the Juan De Fuca Provincial Park on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Mystic Beach is an incredibly charismatic place. With the winter rains the waterfall swells from a gentle shower into a rushing stream that plunges into the ocean below mixing with the waves as they crash into the dramatic sandstone cliffs. I always find myself lingering to gaze back one more time before turning to go, to imprint this feeling on my heart.
