I like challenging myself to try new techniques and to experiment with materials I seldom use. I want to push my art and keep it edgy. This is demanding, but new ideas and directions emerge this way and it allows my creativity to keep flowing.

This mixed media painting combines rusted iron paint, copper, volcanic sand and acrylic paint. All these layers create an impression of depth and a sense of mystery for this abstract representation of the expanding universe.
