About the Artwork
This piece is part of my “Clouds” series. Living in a northern country has compelled me to appreciate the beauty of clouds. I especially love the stark contrasts of illuminated storm clouds. This mixed media painting combines collage elements, acrylic paint, silver leaves, aluminium pieces and alcohol ink. All these layers create an impression of depth and a sense of mystery.
