Nocturnal painting inspired during a quiet summer evening in Milan, Italy. The atmosphere provided by the street lights and the indoor lighting coming through the old windows talked to me about the comfort we find in familiar places.

My paintings start with a pull of attraction to an everyday object or landscape because of the light, or even my feelings that day. To achieve my painting language, I use oil paints in a very empirical way producing work that is one of a kind.
"“The intention with my paintings is to make you “feel” as if you were there, to be aware of the
breeze or the warmth of the sun”."
