This painting came from my fascination with the in-between moments—the fragile light that exists just before dawn. I’m drawn to the way empty streets hold a quiet presence, how streetlights linger with warmth as the sky begins to shift. In this piece, I wanted to capture that brief pause before the day begins, when everything feels suspended, almost sacred. The power lines, the glow on the pavement, the silhouettes of buildings—they’re all part of a rhythm that’s still asleep. For me, this is a painting about stillness, and about finding beauty in the ordinary while the world slowly turns toward light.
