About the Artwork
After an accident and emergency surgery in another country, part of my recovery was to lie flat with my leg up for 3 months. It was then that I switched from from painting abstract florals in acrylic, to still life in oil. This little tea pot was part of my very first still life setup and has been included in many of my paintings since.
