Last Light: I remember that after a long hot working day on the farm we used to sit together in the shade cast by the house waiting for the last light to make its dramatic exit. Intense heat seemed to blur edges of objects as maroon shadows contrasted with Naples yellow lighting. The house remained still and silent , year after year gathering precious memories.
