About the Artwork
This painting is an underwater view with light streaming from the surface. All the shapes are not necessarily defined which gives the piece movement and intrigue. I also limited myself to Goethe’s melancholy palette of blue, green and purple on a black and white underpainting. The jewel colours express the turbulent introspection and reflection caused by recent events.
