About the Artwork
Every second breath we take is thanks to plankton. It's the essential base of the oceans' food chain, absorbs carbon dioxide, and creates oxygen - and yet for the most part it's invisible. This piece is from my plankton series. If we are able to see something we're more likely to care about it. This work and others in my series are featured in a recent article about plankton by David Greer online at #3quarksdaily.
