My Collagraph is a collage of a variety textures on a printing plate, this texture creates the unique details of the image - in this case an Artichoke. The collagraph plate is inked in a painterly way, rag paper is laid upon the plate, then paper and plate are passed through a printing press; the transferred ink and the impression left on the rag paper is the finished work of art.
