About the Artwork
I have always been attracted to the gorgeous green/blue colour, delicate scent and shapely ovate form of the eucalyptus leaf. Here several branches are paired with a beautiful antique Japanese vase in a similar, though much darker, hue, setting off their gentle grey cast. Painted from life.
