About the Artwork
n STAND BY ME I became obsessed with creating orbs. Each orb manifested its unique and exuberant personality when emerging from my torch. Each orb gave me hope, happiness and promise in a very bleak time.
My hope for the world is that we can celebrate our diversity and also recognize our need for each other.
Beauty is really the synergy that comes from the recognition and celebration of our individual differences.
Each of these orbs cells us to celebrate our emergence from this pandemic with a commitment to our global community.
