About the Artwork

Sculpture of a contemplative dog created using fine mesh metal screening painted red. The dog's posture conveys a sense of quiet stillness and thoughtfulness. The mesh allows light to pass through, giving the sculpture a ghostly, otherworldly quality while still maintaining the recognizable shape of a canine. The sculpture interacts with light and shadow in different settings, sometimes creating a larger silhouette or shadow that echoes the dog's form. This interplay adds depth and intrigue to the artwork, inviting viewers to contemplate the interplay between substance and emptiness, form and light.
