This painting was started with the thought of creating a collage with geometric shapes superimposed on/within each other and soon translated into an image done entirely with drawing focused on a single circle (maybe the sun or moon) in a landscape of squares and rectangles.. resulting in a structured abstract painting playing with light and shadows that creates a sense of dynamics at play.
