When you stand before The Lookout, I hope you feel invited to pause with me.
This painting is about the moment when a landscape becomes more than something we see. It becomes something we feel and carry with us.
I did not paint the view exactly as it appears. I painted it as memory: fragments of colour, light, movement, and emotion.
Perhaps you will find warmth in the reds, calm in the blues, or life in the greens and yellows. Wherever your eye travels, I hope the painting gives you a moment to step back, breathe, and see differently.
My work reflects a style that is uniquely my own, which I describe as organic cubism. It is inspired in part by Gaudí’s architecture, particularly Casa Batlló, where structure, colour, movement, and nature come together in a deeply expressive way.
