About the Artwork
I wanted to create a dreamy feeling, choosing to paint the fabric
with soft, blended folds rather than strong, bold brushstrokes. The shadowing on the face and hands, and the way the light dances across the skin, were all part of building that dream like atmosphere.
For me it’s always the challenge to capture the emotion that drives me to create.
