About the Artwork
In October 2021 my wife and I made our last painting trip of the year. We wandered our way through the Rockies, taking in the scenery and trying to get some of it down in paint. This piece was painted at dusk on the shore of Lower Kananaskis Lake just before that cold wind off the snowfields took my hat off and tried to throw it in the lake.
