About the Artwork
This painting was inspired by the dry, sculptural trees I saw at Crater Lake.Their twisted forms suggested strength shaped by time and nature in my interpretation, the dry snag transforms into a blooming form - where harshness and beauty exist together, and even in dryness there is the possibility of life.
