Inspired by the flow of water in a waterfall. Water is a vital component of nature and an international icon across cultures and countries. Today with climate change and pollution, freshwater and ocean water are becoming threatened. The beauty, force and energy of water have always drawn me in. Everything is always changing, even if only a little. My paintings do not intend to capture a single moment but instead, endeavour to create a space where nothing stands still. To emulate the play of light on the water I use metallic paints, inks and mixed media.
