About the Artwork
Water is the life blood of a polar bear, where they live, where they hunt, and where they play.
Submerged, depicts two polar bears enjoying a play fight as the bubbles rise around them. Weightlessness, buoyancy, and majestic maneuvering in the cold water is entirely necessary to their way of life.
Submerged is the 5th painting in the series “The Polar Bear”.
