About the Artwork
The barley grass appears everywhere on the garden borders. There is an element of surprise at what this little feathered plant can do on a mono-print plate. It seems to have an energy that invites experimentation and exploration. It moves across the plate using a variety of colours and leaves its definitive impression in interesting layers that keep the eye involved.
