About the Artwork
I came across this scene one sunny autumn day and knew I needed to paint it. The intense warm colours of the sumac trees contrasted beautifully with the cool shadows of the rock wall and driveway. What a delightful surprise to discover this scene down the same lane as the vineyards of Grey Monk Winery.
