“Rose Retreat” was created on cotton printed fabric glued to canvas on a stretcher frame painted with acrylic paint and acrylic ink. I wanted to create a place within another dimension that does not exist. A place that is somewhat familiar where one can reflect by taking them to a unnatural world with vibrant colour and imaginable fragrance.
