About the Artwork
The Hellebore flower is known for its amazing ability to bloom in late winter and early spring. I tried to capture its delicate yet resilient beauty in this painting using Acrylic paint and Collage papers. The collage papers hinted at frost or snow in the background and emphasized the contrast between the flower's tolerance to the cold air and the delicate petals and leaves of the flower.
