About the Artwork
Amazing to look out over the water in the misty fog and see it rolling across to you on Vancouver Island. The feeling of moisture in the air weighs down on the boulders and leaves you with an impression of wet, sharply defined rocks that have been carved out by the elements over a period of centuries. The viewer is left with the feeling of peace and tranquility, one with nature, and only the small boat and floating buoy alludes to the presence of any other human.
