I was worried about the news and what the future will bring us. I went to the kitchen and saw how the warm sun was shining over the flower pots, creating those amazing shadows over the table. It was a beautiful and serene scene, and somehow it reminded me that there is darkness but there is also light, and one cannot exist without the other.

I know it is not easy, but I believe we can find hope and beauty in everything. It is my hope that we all do our little part to help each other now, and one day soon when our lives go back to normal, we will be better human beings with the lessons we’ve learned.
