About the Artwork
In this tiny piece, I capitalized on the quick drying time of the ink and the random shapes it makes to create this bear cub. I Then lifted the darks where I wanted them to be. I live in Manitoba where polar bears roam in Hudson’s Bay. If there is any beacon to remind us of climate change, it’s these creatures. I love to paint them as a reminder of our times and the steps we must take to ensure their survival.
