About the Artwork
This past April I was paddling near Nanaimo, BC in the same location that I began kayaking exactly 30 years ago. It occurred to me that in a way, 30 years can pass as a fleeting moment since at that time, it felt as though I was paddling back through time. Floating on the ocean and being surrounded by the sights, sounds, smells and memories is a moment that will be with me forever.
