Paddling down the Peace River with my brother whom I rarely see was a wonderful moment in time. This in of itself was a fleeting moment of pure joy. It then occurred to me that something as timeless as the Peace River can be viewed as a fleeting moment since it is going to be forever changed by the building of a dam.
