This beautiful white dog just showed up as I was trying out new marks and colours. The busyness of the lines and the marks in the background reminded me of our daughter's beloved retriever and how hard it is for him to focus when he hears the word "walk" or surprisingly "cat". It is like he is instantly tuned in but the "wait" command is something he has not mastered for more than a few seconds. This fun painting is in a white mat that fits a 14" x 11" frame.
