About the Artwork

This mixed media piece was so much fun. I felt like a child making wonderful marks, gluing pieces down, old palette papers, tissue paper and even my fancy chocolate wrappers. I enjoyed the chocolates first, you know, all in the name of art! This piece just kept building up and the textures were so intriguing that I started to see and cut in flowers and a vase on a table. This piece was like unwrapping a Christmas present when I pulled the tape off!! Oh, if all painting was this much fun, I'd never come out of my studio!
