Month of May is the season when killdeers eggs hatch among low grasses on the sandy beach in the Iona Regional Park, Richmond, B.C.
That is the reason the beach areas are restricted from visitors roaming around. Artist created the distant scene overlooking towards the dune and wrecked log beaches.

My painting is original with the first impression, composition, light, colours, mood and passion.
"A painting is an illusion, so you are free to improve what you see through the channel of sentimentality. You are here to improve on what you see. Capture the mood, the feeling of place. You succumb to it to colour, to mood, to feeling. Capture the intangible."
