When I saw this tree I just had to paint it. The way that it had grown over the many years was stunning. The rock was its' foundation. Truly you look around and see that other trees have not faired so well but here, the strength of the tree counts on the foundation. If it was a sandy foundation I dare say that I would not have had this to paint.
