On a recent trip, I marvelled once again at how similar some views in other parts of the world are to those here at home in BC. The photo reference for this painting was taken in Tierra del Fuego National Park in Southern Argentina but as I painted it, it evolved to look just like a West Coast BC view. Maybe I just love living here so much that it spills into my paintings.
