Lac Jadot is a shallow lake resembling a watery grave, full of cut trees and old roots and yet this watery grave is abundant with life and color. It is a magical waterway , encouraging one to navigate the twists and turns, the upturned roots ,the different rock formations and old trees in hopes of sighting Loons, Herons and if lucky a Moose. I painted this landscape intuitively with an abundance of color and texture.
