The painting titled Winded, depicts the strong winds and the harshness of the weather, on the far west coast of Vancouver Island. While walking the shoreline of Uclulet during low tide, I viewed the land as a script, a story, or a music staff, written by the hand of nature.

Jennifer Caie SCA AFCA, AFCA
The Canadian wild places are Jennifer Caie's subjects in painting. Her artwork is created as a direct result of time spent in Dryden, Ontario's wilderness. She also finds a deep connection while hiking the Canadian coastal regions. “Really anything that reveals the effect of wind on the land."
""On the water, or in the water”
This should be written on the transom over every one of our doors!
I do appreciate water in every form, whether frozen or fluid."
