About the Artwork
This painting is a diptych.
Different types of paper are used in this painting. The main surface is a layer of tissue paper. The other layers are craft paper , newsprint and a thin antique paper. All of these surfaces are sanded to give a distressed look.
Acrylic paint and various drawing tools are used on top.
This is a new series that compliments some landscape that I worked on last year.
